東吳大學哲學系主辦的第四屆「哲學‧符號‧敘事」國際工作坊 (Fourth International Workshop on “Philosophy‧Sign‧Narrative” – PSN4) 將於2012年5月26-27日，在東吳大學外雙溪校區第二教研大樓人社院會議室 (D1005) 舉行。
工作坊會前會日前已籌辦完成，於4月28日在東吳大學外雙溪校區第二教研大樓人社院會議室 (D1005) 順利舉行，為學科開題，並導引5月國際工作坊之進行。當日討論熱烈，感謝所有與會者的參與。
本屆工作坊延續前此在台北舉行的第一、二屆 (2010)，以及在巴黎舉行的第三屆 (2012)，將以「詞事」(lexis) 與「詞序」(lexia) 為主體課題 (lead question)，聚焦於「『詞-話語』的安置活動」(lexis)，以及因此定義、產出的「『說-敘』(telling- narrating) 序列 (sequence)」(lexia) 作為詮釋的初始單位 (interpretive emetic units)。我們預定著力於法理、宗教的既成文本或案例，併及未經、未得倫理價值類化 (ethical value-classified) 的任何初始材料 (matere pris)；延伸之，我們也將注意於任何可得而相關 (related) 的基礎想像 (basic imaginaries)。
為配合論題，第四屆「哲學‧符號‧敘事」國際工作坊特邀任教於匹茲堡大學 (University of Pittsburgh) 法學院之呂格爾學會前任會長George H. Taylor、任教於哈爾頓-席門思大學 (Hardin-Simmons University) 神學院之該學會現任會長Dan R. Stiver，與任教於美國CUNY刑罪學院哲學系之Kyoo Lee，到會專題講述。
再次歡迎各行學者與研究生參與本工作坊。會議將另備中-英-德-法語隨機
